Help us raise vital support for YCAT artists in these challenging times

Almost overnight, many YCAT artists’ diaries and engagements in the coming months have disappeared. The COVID-19 situation is developing rapidly, and our priority is to ensure the wellbeing of our artists.

Already, YCAT artists have lost over £60,000 in earnings in the next month.

As a charity, our priority is to ensure the wellbeing of our artists during these times. We are using our reserves to give artists as much financial support as we can and covering any cancelled expenses they will incur.

Many industries are facing increasing pressures, and for freelance musicians the situation is seriously worrying. YCAT artists rely on our work to ensure they have income, which is why we are doing everything we can to support them when they need us the most. Already, we are covering the costs of travel and accommodation that artists may have incurred for cancelled engagements and have given each artist a £250 grant as a gesture of support. Of course, we want to do more and that is why we have set up a COVID-19 Hardship Fund for those who would like to directly support YCAT artists at this time. In advance, thank you for your generosity and support.

Every penny raised from the COVID-19 Hardship Fund will be directly distributed to YCAT artists.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.
